Full concept, design and planning service for private clients resulted in this stone and brick combination village home.
This was a replacement dwelling and was ambitious from the start as the original dwelling was a modest bungalow and the clients wanted a house of around 4000 square feet.
Through our pre-application work with the LPA, we demonstrated our thoughts in how the project could appear as a traditional stone manor house with a range of brick and slate outbuildings that were perhaps converted and linked to the house over time. They thought this was a good concept and planning was approved first time without the need to go to committee.
The project incorporated a full oak frame from T J Crump Oakwrights Ltd and was self managed by the clients.
The planning authority was South Northamptonshire Council.
