Kent Country House

Full concept, design and planning service for private clients resulted in this stunning vernacular referenced country house built as a replacement to the existing dwelling.

The success of this scheme was in how we interpreted the planning constraints of the plot bearing in mind it was open countryside and set within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)

In total, we managed to secure a planning permission without the need to go to committee of 592 square metres / 6371 square feet including the full footprint basement which makes use of the naturally sloping landscape.

The project incorporated a full oak frame from T J Crump Oakwrights Ltd and was self managed by the clients.

The planning authority was Sevenoaks District Council
